For our two teenage godchildren, my husband and I, it was to be a very special trip. I received a lot of support with the planning directly from South Africa and Dave was recommended to us as a personal tour guide. His open nature, enthusiasm and knowledge made the trip a special experience. Our wonderful two-week tour started in Cape Town, where we were picked up by Dave. Although we were on our own for a few days, Dave kept in touch to make sure everything was going well. We would highly recommend David Fraser and African Travel Safaris. We are sure we will want to repeat this trip and request Dave as our guide.

When I began planning for our trip to Africa in July I knew I wanted it to be a really special trip for my husband and I and our two teenage grandsons. I had been to Africa in 2018 and had so many wonderful memories many of which included David Fraser. He was our Game Ranger on that trip and his energy, enthusiasm and knowledge added so much to my enjoyment of that trip. For that reason I knew I needed him to assist in planning our trip through his travel agency, African Travel Safaris. Best decision I could have made! David planned a beautiful 2 week tour that began in Cape Town with Dave as our personal guide. He planned many fun adventures which included a trip to Boulder’s Beach and The Cape of Good Hope, a quad bike adventure, and a hike up Lion’s Head Mountain to name just a few. He was our guide for the garden route stopping for a night at Knysna Lagoon, which is actually an estuary, and then onto a private game reserve where he left us in the capable hands of an amazing staff. After our adventures there we traveled to Zimbabwe for continued animal adventures. Dave remained in contact with us throughout our trip to make sure all was going well. Every detail of our trip was planned to perfection. Without a doubt I would recommend David Fraser and African Travel Safaris to anyone who inquired and I hope to use their services for future African travel.
